Screen printing is just like silk screen printing but, rather than ink, powdered glass is pushed through the screen. A "mask" or resist is applied to the screen. Each color utilizes a different screen. Multiple firings in a kiln are required in order to fix the powder to the glass. A wide variety of effects can be created.
Recently, I have been creating with enamels on glass, as well as wafers and stencilled motifs.
